Profile

Santa Rosa Junior College is a two-year community college, founded in 1918. Located approximately one hour north of San Francisco in Northern California’s beautiful wine country, SRJC is regarded as one of the nation’s premier two-year colleges, offering university level courses. We are known for our academic excellence, superb faculty, comprehensive student services, and excellent facilities. While the college traditionally enrolls over 32,000 students each semester, most class sizes remain small, giving students a unique opportunity to work closely with their instructors in a safe and friendly learning environment. In addition to SRJC’s instructional programs, students can become involved with many extracurricular choices that range from athletic teams, student clubs, nationally ranked speech and debate teams, to outstanding theater arts, music and dance programs.

Academic Excellence

Student success is the top priority at Santa Rosa Junior College. All students have access to numerous support services, including new student orientation, academic and career counseling, university transfer, tutoring, and many other services. There are many educational options for international students. Students can earn an Associate Degree in two to three years and complete requirements for transfer to universities such as U.C. Berkeley, U.C. Davis, Stanford University and UC Los Angeles to complete a bachelor’s degree. We also offer over 150 career certificate programs that can be completed in one to two years.
